This meetup and trail run was special in many ways. I was looking forward to this because of the wet winter experienced living here in SoCal compared to the hot dry conditions we recently went through. The chance of snow was high and the thought of hitting some snow-covered trails with this fantastic group was all I needed to want to head out.

There was an incredible amount of rigs this time around. A good surprise. There was plenty of snow, frequent breaks to enjoy the sights of the mountains, opportunities for great photos of the group and our rigs. Although plans hardly ever work out perfectly as are planned, the changes along the way provided more opportunities for us to come together to overcome obstacles. Especially when we have to work together whether it was due to downed trees or vehicles in tough spots. An all-day excursion with friends and new members was enjoyable, to say the least. And that’s what it’s all about. Having fun with others who enjoy the same and being there for each other to not leave anyone behind.
